Call for papers
Abstracts for the ICCP2020 must be submitted through the dedicated forms on the Congress’ website (see above) from the 1st of September 2019.
Abstracts should have no more than 500 words, should be written in English, and should offer sufficient details to assess the scientific contribution to the broad field of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies. The structured abstract should include:
Each abstract should be submitted under a specific topic from the list available here. Authors and symposium organizers are invited to choose the topic that is most closely related to their studies. One author can submit multiple abstracts or symposia under the same or different topics.
Presenting authors must be fully registered by 30th of April 2020 in order for their presentation to be included in the final version of the scientific program.
The congress is accepting three types of abstracts:
- Symposium abstract. The symposium organizer must prepare a file including a generic abstract describing the main topics covered in the symposium, and how the different presentations included contribute to a deeper understanding of the new advances in the field. After this generic description of the symposium, the file must include all of the other individual papers. Each symposium should have at least three (and maximum four) individual presentations. The organizer must also specify at least one chair and optionally one discussant. Deadline for submitting symposia is January 15th 2020.
- Open paper. Open papers are individual abstracts that do not belong to a parent symposium at submission, but they will be grouped based on the topic and relevance in specific symposia and/or open paper sessions by the scientific committee. Each open paper will have about 15 to 20 minutes for presentation. Deadline for submitting open papers is February 15th 2020.
- Poster presentation. Poster abstracts should be submitted for research that is in early development and for which only tentative evidence is available at this point. The scientific committee might also decide that some symposia papers or open papers are more appropriate for the poster sessions. Deadline for submitting posters is March 15th 2020.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM THE 1ST OF SEPTEMBER 2019
