Call for papers
Abstracts should be submitted in English, not exceed 500 words and should supply enough details to allow assessing their scientific contribution to the broad field of cognitive-behavioural psychotherapies. Abstract’s structure should include the following sections:
Each abstract should be submitted under a specific topic to be selected from this list. Authors and symposium organizers are invited to choose the topic that most closely relates to their studies. An author may submit multiple abstracts or symposia under the same topic or under a different one.
Presenting authors must be fully registered by April 30th, 2020 in order for their presentation to be included in the final version of the scientific program.
The congress accepts three types of abstracts:
- Symposium abstract. Symposium organizers must draft a file containing a generic abstract which describes the main topics covered by the symposium specifying how the different presentations that follow the generic abstract contribute to a deeper understanding of the new advances in the field. Please supply all of the additional individual papers below this generic description of the symposium in the same file. Each symposium should foresee at least three (no more than four) individual presentations. The organizer must also specify at least one chair and optionally one discussant. Deadline for submitting symposia is January 15th, 2020.
- Open paper. Open papers are individual abstracts that do not belong to a parent symposium at submission, which are going to be grouped by the Scientific Committee according to their topic and their relevance to specific symposia and/or open paper sessions. Please plan for about 15 to 20 minutes for the presentation of each open paper. Deadline for submitting open papers is February 15th, 2020.
- Poster presentation. Poster abstracts should pertain to research that is in its early stages and currently offers only tentative evidence. The Scientific Committee may also decide that some symposia papers or open papers are more appropriate for the poster sessions. Deadline for submitting posters is March 15th, 2020.
